1 watt white LED with heatsink.
This 1 watt LED is pre-soldered onto a heatsink, so that it does not melt the instant you turn it on.
This LED is crazy bright. Don't try and use it as an indicator. Use it to light something up, or hurt your friend's eyes.

You can't drive this thing directly with a microcontroller pin. Use a darlington, or the MOSFET listed below to drive it.
